Snapchat spotlight downloader
Spotlight clips from a public profile, saved as MP4 exactly as Snapchat serves them. Nothing is re-encoded and no watermark is added.
A bare handle works, and so does @handle or a full snapchat.com link. No account, no sign-up, and Snapchat is never told who looked — but only public profiles can be read.
Nothing public on this profile
The account exists and its page loaded, but it publishes no story, no highlights and no spotlight clips right now. That is a normal state, not an error.
Only public content is reachable. If this account posts to friends rather than publicly, there is nothing here to read, and no tool can change that.
What Spotlight is
Spotlight is Snapchat's public feed of short vertical videos — the part of the app that is public by design rather than by an account's choice. Clips a profile has posted to Spotlight stay on its public page, which is why they are readable here.
On the profiles measured while building this, spotlight clips arrived one per gallery rather than in batches: 24 clips on one account, 16 on another, each its own entry. They are grouped into a single X1 zone here so it reads as one grid.
Saved exactly as served
The MP4 you get is the file Snapchat serves, byte for byte. No re-encode, no crop, no watermark added by this site.
One technical note worth knowing: spotlight clips come from a different Snapchat host
than story and highlight media, and that host labels its files
application/octet-stream rather than video/mp4. A tool that names downloads from
the server's label would hand you a file with no extension. This one names files from
what the media actually is, so a spotlight clip saves as .mp4 and opens by
double-clicking.
Public profiles only
Spotlight clips from a public profile are readable. Nothing else is — the questions page is explicit about what that rules out.
